Recipe with garlic cabbage
Photo: GC
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 2 tablespoons chopped garlic
- 2 tablespoons of butter or olive oil
- 1 bunch of cabbage in thin strips (chifonade)
- Salt to taste
Method of preparation
Cut the cabbage into thin strips, which we know as cut chifonade. And the thinner the better. Then sauté the garlic in butter or olive oil.
When the garlic is browned, add the cabbage and stir quickly. Avoid lingering in this sauce, as the cabbage loses a lot of volume and dehydrates quickly. In addition, it loses some of the crispness.
Another detail is that this stew in the leaves helps to eliminate harmful substances and make them more digestible and tasty.
